Who we are
We at MomoMatcha spent the past year testing matcha from dozens of farms across Japan until we finally found the quality we were looking for. That search led us to two small, family-run farms — one in Uji and one in Aichi — both known for their long-standing tea traditions and exceptional craftsmanship. Together, they produce the pure, ceremonial-grade matcha that met our standards.

What We Stand For
We believe quality shouldn’t hide behind marketing or inflated prices. That’s why we keep it simple with no middlemen, no additives, and no shortcuts. Every batch of MomoMatcha is first harvest, stone ground, and tested for purity and taste. This is what we stand for: honest, transparent, and truly authentic matcha.

Our Values
At the core of MomoMatcha are authenticity, transparency, quality, and honesty. We stay true to where matcha comes from, respecting the people and traditions behind it. We believe you deserve to know exactly what’s in your cup and how it’s made. Every choice we make is guided by taste, purity, and a commitment to doing what feels right, not what’s easiest.

Our Mission
Our mission at MomoMatcha is to bring truly authentic, farm-crafted matcha to people who value purity, taste, and tradition. We source directly from small family-run farms in both Uji and Aichi, honoring the centuries-old craftsmanship these regions are known for. Every step we take, from selecting the leaves to delivering each package, is guided by freshness, transparency, and deep respect for the farmers who have perfected this craft for generations.
Why the World Loves Matcha from Japan
Did you know matcha originally came from China, but truly became what it is today in Japan?
Over the centuries, Japan refined the growing, shading, and stone-grinding methods and developed the tea ceremony, turning matcha into an art form.
That dedication to craft is why the world now looks to Japan for the smoothest, brightest, and highest-quality matcha.
