Our Matcha
Our Matcha
Our Shikō matcha is 100% pure and comes straight from Japan, the country where matcha has truly been perfected over centuries. Grown on small, family-run farms, it is cultivated, harvested and stone-milled with the same care and dedication passed down through generations. The taste is smooth and balanced, with no bitterness or strange aftertaste. Its fine, clump-free texture and vibrant fresh-green color are exactly what you would expect from authentic ceremonial-grade matcha. No additives, no sweeteners, no fillers, just pure tea leaves crafted the way it should be.

How to prepare?
How to prepare?
- Pour hot water into your matcha bowl and over the bamboo whisk to warm and soften them. Then pour the water out and dry the bowl thoroughly.
- Use a fine sieve to sift 1–2 grams of matcha powder into the bowl. This helps prevent clumps and ensures a smooth texture.
- Pour in about 60–70 ml of water heated to around 70°C (not boiling). Too hot and it may ruin the flavor.
- Using your bamboo whisk, whisk the matcha briskly in an “M” or “W” motion until a frothy, creamy foam appears on top.
- Enjoy it on its own, or mix it with your favorite milk, juice, or any drink you love — hot or cold. Matcha is as versatile as you make it.

Why people drink matcha..
-
Supports your daily skin and hair routine.
Matcha is naturally rich in EGCG, a well-known antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress. Combined with caffeine and other plant-based compounds, this blend fits perfectly into your daily beauty routine, supporting overall skin and hair care from within.
-
A natural addition to your daily energy and balance.
Crafted to support balance, gentle energy, and a moment of calm. With plant-based ingredients traditionally used to complement an active lifestyle, this blend invites you to pause, recharge, and reconnect with yourself.
-
Simply because it tastes better than coffee
Matcha naturally contains caffeine and L-theanine — a unique combination traditionally appreciated for its smooth, balanced feel. Unlike the sharp kick of coffee, this blend is known for delivering a more gentle lift, making it ideal for moments when you want to stay clear and composed.

This is what real matcha looks like
Ours stands out with its rich, vibrant green, not the dull or yellowish tone you find in lower grades. Grown in the shade, picked young, and stone-ground to preserve color, taste, and nutrients.
Collapsible content
Why is your matcha greener and smoother than other brands?
Because we only use young tea leaves from the first harvest (first flush), stone-ground straight into powder. No blends, no fillers, no shortcuts.
What’s the difference between your matcha and cheaper alternatives?
Most cheap matcha is culinary grade — bitter, dull in color, and often sourced from China. Ours is pure, smooth, and vibrant — crafted for quality and taste, not just price.
Where is your matcha from?
Our matcha comes straight from Japan and China, two of the most respected regions for high-quality, ceremonial-grade matcha. Sourced from family-run farms, it’s grown, harvested, and stone-milled by experienced producers, reflecting generations of perfected craftsmanship.
Why is your matcha more affordable than other smooth, high-quality brands?
We keep it simple. We avoid unnecessary layers in the supply chain, use minimal packaging, and don’t spend big on flashy marketing. That means you get top-grade matcha at a fair price — without overpaying for the hype.
What’s the difference between Japanese and Chinese matcha?
Chinese matcha comes from the very same tea plant as Japanese matcha — and in many cases, the taste and quality can be just as good, if not better. Because matcha originally comes from China, we felt it only natural to also offer a Chinese variant. But we wanted to set the bar high: only the finest ceremonial-grade quality, carefully sourced and tested. The result is a pure, vibrant matcha so smooth and refined that once you try it, you’ll probably never want anything else.
